Q. Has AMTC closed?

A. Yes, Actors, Models & Talent for Christ, the 501c3 non-profit, closed in January, 2018. All business operations ceased after the successful conclusion of its final eight conventions in 2017. We are thankful for 35 amazing years!

Q. Why Did AMTC Close?

A. AMTC's overhead, including large studios in ATL and Dallas, advertising, travel, event and other major expenses exceeded AMTC's relatively modest tuition income. Donations were not sufficient to cover the difference.

Q. Are SHINE.us, LLC, and Actors, Models & Talent for Christ related?

A. Legally, no. They are separate entities, AMTC was formed as a 501c3 non-profit Christian ministry in the State of GA. SHINE.us is an LLC in the State of SC.

Spiritually, yes. SHINE.us is a legacy company intended to carry on the mission and vision of AMTC: to bring light to the entertainment industry, to offer an effective education, excellent fellowship and a safe path for performers with values to survive and thrive in media… without compromise.

Q. What if I want to reach someone in AMTC?

Q. Who is running SHINE.us, LLC?

A. Carey Lewis, Janice and John Maze, and Glynis Carpenter, along with an excellent team of professional Talent Consultants.

Q. Can performers who graduated (or dropped) from AMTC Come to a SHINE Event?

A. SHINE, LLC and AMTC are legally separate companies. The new SHINE event(s) are smaller and more exclusive than recent AMTC events. Performers (or drops) must re-audition.
