Kêta’s Bio:
The genesis of Kêta’s career in the music industry began in 2014, when the first songs she wrote, garnered the attention of significant industry leaders. At 16 years old, she landed a record deal with Capitol Records, got a music publishing deal with SonyATV and was signed to CAA by CEO, Rob Light & agent Brian Greenbaum. This all led to her exodus from her family’s home, in rural Indiana, to the heart of the music industry— Los Angeles. Her first industry ‘assignment’? To open up for Sam Smith on his first U.S. West Coast tour.
Unforeseen changes with the label arrangement and artist management team, led to a pause in Kêta’s journey as an artist; redirecting her time and talent back to her first love: Songwriting and Artist Development.
Fast forward to 2020, Kêta has amassed a multitude of songs, spanning across almost every music genre, making her a songwriter with diverse capability, limitless lyrical skill and an ever-expanding melodic toolbox. She is a signed songwriter with SonyATV and is continuing to work with artists both in the U.S. and internationally. Her love for working with artists has inspired her to launch her own Artist Development Company. She is also pursuing a career in Inspirational speaking & chronic health advocacy and education, using her own testimony to inspire others to love life and go after joy and peace.
